The Original H16 Reflex
Year of Introduction 1956 From s/n 116,001+
The
first Bolex Reflex camera was called appropriately the "H16 Reflex".
It was the first three lens turret camera to have the reflex viewfinder
installed. I.E. a viewfinder that could not be removed from the camera
body.
To identify a H16 Reflex "Original" (as I like to call them) make sure it has a round base and has no variable shutter present. You then have a H16 reflex on your hands.
