Self Timer Unit

The
self timer unit was available in the 1960s only and is used to set the
camera running 6 seconds after the clockwork mechanism of the timer has
been started.
This allows for a shooting time of between 5 and 20 seconds, which is preset using the calibrated dial on the side of the unit.
This accessory really does mark out the origins of the H16 camera system as that of being primarily for the amateur user.
The device is no different from those on still
cameras allowing everyone in the family including who was taking the picture
to be in fame at the same time. The Picture on the left shows a self timer
